Porto's perfect league start

Porto are top of Liga Portugal after seven games, winning all seven.
Porto have had an outstanding start to the Liga Portugal season, winning all of their first seven league games. The club won the league last season, ending six points clear of second-place Sporting CP.
The Dragons have scored 18 goals and have conceded just three, keeping four clean sheets. Last season, they conceded only 18 goals in 34 league games, and their impressive defensive displays have carried on into this campaign.
They kept four straight clean sheets to kickstart the season, which gave them a great platform to climb to the top of the table early on this campaign.
Seven Liga Portugal results this season:
2-0 win vs Alverca
2-0 win vs Arouca
2-0 win vs Rio Ave
3-0 win vs Academico Viseu
2-1 win vs Moreirense
4-1 win vs Casa Pia
3-1 win vs Benfica
Porto's most recent win was the biggest of them all, defeating title challengers Benfica. Marco Silva's side had the chance to go into the international break top of the table by one point, but they failed to capitalise.
Francesco Farioli's side defeated the Eagles at the Estádio do Dragão, with the visitors having 10 men for a large part of the game. The win was a major statement so early on in this season, and the defending champions have already created a gap to second.
Although only seven Liga Portugal games have been played to date, Porto find themselves five points clear of second-place Benfica. Sporting are third, six points behind.
When Porto return to league action, they face Maritimo, who are 11th. Maritimo won their first two league games this season, but they are winless in their last five.
They will be hoping to pick up an unexpected win next time out, but they will head into the clash as second favourites.
