Did you know these players played for Inter Miami?

Inter Miami was founded in 2018 by David Beckham, Jorge Mas and his brother Jose Mas.
The Florida club became the 25th team in Major League Soccer and played their first campaign in 2020.
Across the club's short history, it has seen a wealth of talent walk through its doors, but some players you may have forgotten.
Some of the most notable names at the club right now include Luis Suárez, Casemiro, Rodrigo De Paul, Sergio Reguilón, and of course, Lionel Messi.
Gonzalo Higuaín:
Gonzalo Higuaín joined Inter Miami in 2020, after helping guide Juventus to the Serie A title.
The Argentine scored 29 league goals in 68 appearances for Miami, and was one of the club's first major signings.
Higuain spent three seasons with the club, from 2020 to 2022. The striker made a great impact at the club and got better for the side as his spell in Florida went on.
In his final seven appearances for the club, he netted seven goals, ending his playing career on a high.
Blaise Matuidi:
Like Higuain, Blaise Matuidi joined Inter Miami following the 19/20 season. The French midfielder played for the MLS outfit for two years, making 48 league appearances.
The former Juventus and PSG star scored twice for David Beckham's club, one in 2020 and one in 2021.
After the '21 season, the Frenchman retired from football, ending his career in Florida.
Kieran Gibbs:
Former Arsenal and West Brom defender Kieran Gibbs ended his career at Inter Miami and was with the club for two seasons. The Englishman was on the books for the MLS side for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Gibbs' final game for Miami was a 3-0 defeat against New York City in the MLS play-offs, ending his career at the age of 33.
Josef Martínez:
Prolific Major League Soccer striker Josef Martinez joined Miami from Atlanta United after a hugely successful stint in Georgia.
The Venezuelan played in Florida for one year, netting 12 goals across all competitions. During the 2023 season, the forward played an important role in Inter Miami winning the 2023 Leagues Cup, which was the side's first piece of major silverware in their history.
Ryan Shawcross:
Ryan Shawcross spent 14 years at Stoke City, after joining the club from Manchester United.
But in 2021, the defender swapped Stoke for Miami, and played one season for Inter Miami. Across his short stint in the US, the Englishman made 12 appearances, receiving one red card.
His final career appearance was for Miami, in a 2-1 win against Nashville. Shawcross was substituted on in the 89th minute, and his side scored the winning goal in the 95th minute, marking his final game as a memorable one.
