Borussia Dortmund's perfect start to the league season
Borussia Dortmund currently sit top of the Bundesliga table after four matches.
The side are the only team in the Bundesliga to have won all of their opening four league games, putting them above second-place Bayern Munich by two points.
First four results:
Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Hamburg
Hoffenheim 2-3 Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund 3-0 Paderborn
Stuttgart 0-1 Borussia Dortmund
The Prussians have scored nine Bundesliga goals, with Fabio Silva, Felix Nmecha and Serhou Guirassy scoring two each.
Black and Yellow have kept three clean sheets across their four league games, conceding two against Hoffenheim.
Dortmund have won six of their first seven games this season, with their only defeat coming against Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup. Vincent Kompany's side won the clash 3-2.
Niko Kovac's side return to action on Friday against Werder Bremen, and could be five points clear at the top of the table come Saturday morning.
In the UEFA Champions League, Villarreal fell short at Signal Iduna Park, losing 3-2. Guirassy scored a brace, helping his side get over the line and pick up their first three points of the league phase.
BVB travel to Bodo/Glimt next in the Champions League, which has proven to be a difficult venue for away sides over the past year.
In the DFB Pokal, Dortmund made easy work of HEBC Hamburg, winning 5-0 away from home. In the next round, Kovac's side faces Werder Bremen at home.
