EFL League Two side Oldham Athletic have completed the signing of 22-year-old Calum Kavanagh from League One's Bradford City. The Irish forward played nine games for the Bantams this season, scoring once. Eight appearances were in the league, while one was in the EFL Trophy. His first goal of the season came in the EFL Trophy, as he scored during Bradford City's 5-1 win against Everton's under-21s.

The young forward joined Bradford City from Middlesbrough after spending time on loan at Newport County and Harrogate Town.

Oldham Athletic now have a new forward in their squad, as the club looks to end the season strongly. Currently, the Latics are 16th in League Two after 27 matches.

Micky Mellon's side have lost two of their last eight, suffering defeats in both of their most recent matches. Michael Mellon, the son of manager Micky, is the club's top goalscorer in the league this season with seven, but he is out injured and is unavailable to play. The side's second-highest goalscorers in the National League are Joe Garner, Joe Quigley and Josh Hawkes, who all have three in the league.

Calum Kavanagh played in four of Bradford City's six matches across January, but he failed to score in any of the games. The 22-year-old will bring a young option to the team at the top end of the pitch, as he looks to fire in plenty of goals for his new side.

During the Bantams' promotion out of League Two last season, he scored nine goals and assisted five in 38 league matches. The season prior, he scored five league goals in 15 appearances.

How many goals do you think Calum Kavanagh will score this season for Oldham Athletic?
