Manchester City have officially announced the signing of Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth. The winger has joined the club for a fee of £65 million, penning a five-and-a-half-year deal with the Cityzens.

Semenyo's super season to date saw him receive interest from across the Premier League, but the winger's dream of working under Pep Guardiola made him choose the Etihad Stadium.

Since the winger joined AFC Bournemouth, in 110 appearances, he had 45 goal involvements.

In the league this season, the Ghana international has scored 10 goals in 20 appearances, seeing him sit third in the Premier League golden boot race.

Upon signing with last season's third-place side, Semenyo said, "I am so proud to have joined Manchester City. They have set the highest of standards and it's a club with world-class players, world-class facilities and one of the greatest managers ever in Pep [Guardiola]."

Rumours have circulated that the arrival of Semenyo will see a winger/attacker depart the club, with Oscar Bobb heavily linked with a move away from Manchester City. Omar Marmoush and Savio have also been rumoured with moves away from the Etihad Stadium during this month's transfer window.

Guardiola's side take on Exeter City in the FA Cup this weekend, followed by a midweek EFL Cup clash against Newcastle United, then a weekend Derby Day away game at Old Trafford vs Manchester United.

Who do you think Antoine Semenyo will make his Manchester City debut against?
