Ivan Toney joined Al-Ahli from Brentford in 2024 and has been a hugely successful signing to date.

Across his spell at the club, the forward has helped Al-Ahli lift the AFC Champions League title in back-to-back seasons and win the Saudi Super Cup.

On top of this, his goal-scoring record has been outstanding across his three seasons.

The English striker has netted 83 goals in 104 appearances for the Saudi side, assisting 18 as well. The forward has been at the heart of Al-Ahli's attack since he joined, and it has been money well spent.

His standout season for the club was last campaign, scoring 42 in 49 appearances. In the league, he netted 32 goals in 32 appearances, winning the division's golden boot award.

This season in the Saudi Pro League, Toney has scored 11 goals in eight appearances. He is six goals ahead of the league’s second-highest goalscorer.

He was on the scoresheet for his side as they defeated Al-Fateh 4-0 away from home. The win was much-needed, as Al-Ahli had only won two of their previous seven fixtures across all competitions.

Their upcoming fixtures do not get any easier either, as they face Al-Wasi in the AFC Champions League, followed by a league clash against Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.

Toney will be hoping to continue his impressive track record in front of goal, and continue to blow the league out of the water with his goals. The 30-year-old impressed so much last year that he was named in England's World Cup squad.

He will hope to get back into Thomas Tuchel's squad plans for the next international break, which is next month.
