West Brom confirmed last night that they have parted ways with men's first-team head coach Eric Ramsay. The former Manchester United coach has left the Baggies after they failed to win any of his eight league games since he took charge.
West Brom are currently one point outside of the Championship relegation zone, and have drawn three of their last four. In their most recent match, they drew 1-1 against Charlton Athletic.
The Baggies take on Oxford United this weekend in their next league game, with the Baggies taking on a side who find themselves in the relegation zone.
Across the last 10 Championship matches, West Brom have the second-worst form in the league across the last 10 games, picking up only four points in those matches.
Their last league win was on 29 December against QPR, with the Baggies winning 2-1. Across the last four months, West Brom have picked up only four wins in the Championship, which sees them fighting at the bottom end of the league table.
West Brom currently have the second-worst away form in the league this season, after 17 games. Their poor record on the road has hindered their chances of finishing around mid-table, at this moment in time. In comparison, they are 16th in the league when it comes to home form, picking up 24 points from 17 games at the Hawthorns.
First-team coach James Morrison will take the side on an interim basis until a replacement for Ramsay comes in.
