Jarrod Bowen commits future to West Ham United

West Ham United were relegated from the Premier League on the final day of the season, ending their 14-year stay in the top flight and dropping down to the EFL Championship.

With the relegation, the futures of multiple players were cast into doubt, including Jarrod Bowen. The winger joined the Irons from Hull City back in January 2020 for a fee of £22m. The price seems to be money well spent six years on, and Bowen played a crucial role in the side's UEFA Conference League win back in 2023.

In 2023, Bowen penned a new seven-year deal with the Hammers, which would see him contracted to the club until 2030. However, this summer he signed a new deal with the side, but on new terms. His contract is still valid until 2030, but with revised terms, it means his future is secure at the London Stadium.

Upon signing his new contract, the 29-year-old said:

"The main motivation for me is staying and bringing this club back into the Premier League where we belong. I have been here six and a half years, I transitioned from a boy in the Championship into a man and now captain of the club. It is a huge honour and I see myself in years to come as a die-hard West Ham fan."

Across 42 appearances for West Ham last season, Jarrod Bowen scored 11 and assisted 12. Despite his spectacular season, it was not enough to keep West Ham in the Premier League or earn him a place in England's World Cup squad.

The latest news regarding Bowen's future will come as a huge momentum booster ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, as the Hammers look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
