York City are sitting top of the National League table, while Rochdale are closely behind in second place. The Minstermen are top by two points, with 104 points. The Dale, who are second, have 102 points from 44 league games.

This weekend, York City face Yeovil Town, with the chance to win the league. Rochdale face Braintree Town in a must-win match for the Greater Manchester side.

If York City win and Rochdale fail to match their result, the Minstermen will be crowned champions of the National League. But if both teams remain within touching distance of each other, the title will be decided next Saturday.

The final day of the National League season will see Rochdale host York City, which will be an extremely exciting game of football. If just two points separate the two teams going into matchday 46, either Rochdale or York will be promoted on the last day of the season.

Tomorrow is a crucial day in the title race, as York could be promoted, while Rochdale could go top of the table going into the final day.

League leaders York City travel to Yeovil Town, who are currently in 16th. For Rochdale, they take on Braintree Town, who have been relegated.

If both teams end level on points at the end of the season, York City will finish above the Dale, as the league leaders have a better goal difference of +24.

Both clubs will be feeling the pressure going into the next two matches, with one booking their spot in the EFL, while the other has to endure the play-offs.

York City finished second last season with 96 points, but they were knocked out of the play-offs by Oldham Athletic, who went on to secure promotion.

Last season, Rochdale ended their campaign with 74 points and finished in the play-offs. They had their season ended by Southend United in the play-offs, who lost in the final.

Both clubs will be hoping they can secure automatic promotion and avoid the play-offs yet again.

Each teams fate is in their own hands, but one has to succeed, and the other has to suffer.
