The final matchday in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League is upon us...

The eighth and final matchday in the UEFA Champions League's league phase is being played this evening.

Only Arsenal and Bayern Munich are guaranteed to advance to the Round of 16 as things stand right now, with so many things up for grabs going into tonight's 18 matches.

Every team in the competition is in action tonight, with the top eight currently consisting of: Arsenal (Q), Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, PSG, Newcastle United and Chelsea.

PSG and Newcastle United, who are level on 13 points, face each other at the Parc des Princes tonight, sitting seventh and eighth in the table respectively.

Barcelona, Sporting CP, Manchester City, Atlético Madrid and Atalanta all sit outside of the top eight, but they all have 13 points. Towards the bottom of the table, Olympaicos occupy the 24th and final spot to reach the play-offs, with eight points.

However, 32nd-place Ajax, eight places below Olympiacos, are only three points away from the play-off places.

Just four teams are unable to reach the next round of the competition, with those teams being Eintracht Frankfurt, Slavia Praha, Villarreal and Kairat Almaty.

Table toppers Arsenal face bottom of the table Kairat Almaty, as the Gunners look to be the first team to win all eight matches in the league phase of the competition.

Chelsea sit eigth, but they play against Napoli, who are one spot outside of the play-offs and are targeting to reach the next round of the competition.

Bodø/Glimt are hoping to reach the play-offs and build on their historic win against Manchester City last week, as they travel to Spain to face Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid, who are hoping to qualify automatically for the Round of 16.
