Salford City have confirmed that from the 2026/27 season, they will change their club crest. The image on the left will be their new badge going forward from next season.

The EFL League Two side currently sit sixth in the table, with 36 points. They are only four points behind Walsall, who are currently the league leaders. Earlier on in the season, Salford confirmed that they will revert their club colours back to orange, which they used up until 2014.

A 77% fan vote was in favour of the colour change back to orange, which will see kits, stadium aesthetics and branding change too.

The tangerine can be seen in the new look badge, which is linked to the club's heritage.

Less than a week ago, the club confirmed that AIG is now the majority shareholder of the club, with them also being the Ammies' long-term strategic partner.

While changes are happening off the pitch, Salford City will be hoping their recent form on the pitch does not change. The Greater Manchester outfit have won three of their last four games in all competitions, and are looking to build on their back-to-back wins on Boxing Day. They take on Harrogate Town on December 26th, who are currently in the relegation zone, sat 23rd.

For the first time in the club's history Karl Robinson's side will be aiming to reach the third tier of English Football, and gain promotion to League One. Salford are currently playing their sixth-straight season in the fourth tier of English Football.
