Wrexham hosted Swansea City on Friday night in the EFL Championship, in an all-Welsh tie. The game saw Wrexham's co-owners, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, join the commentary team as co-commentators.
This caused controversy among football fans, with people unhappy that the co-owners, who were on co-commentary duty, were not impartial. While Wrexham fans would have enjoyed listening to the pair, Swansea City fans would not have.
It was a glorious game from a Wrexham point of view, as the Red Dragons were 2-0 winners. One goal was scored in the first-half, while the second came in the second-half.
The first goalscorer was former Ipswich Town attacker Nathan Broadhead, who scored in the 25th minute and netted his ninth of the season. The second goal came in the 88th minute, which was an own goal. Liam Cullen put the ball in the back of his own net, which doubled the hosts' lead.
At full-time, the Red Dragons had defeated fellow Welsh side Swansea, and Wrexham were inside the play-off spots by six points. However, Southampton have a game in hand over Wrexham, so they could close the gap to three points.
Wrexham have won 16 of their 37 league games played so far this season, and they have impressed since gaining promotion to the second division. Wrexham are nine points behind second-place Middlesbrough, and the Red Dragons will be setting their sights on finishing as high as possible in the table.
Phil Parkinson's team have lost only three of their last 15 in the league, and they have the second-best form in the division out of each sides last 15 games.
The big question now is if Wrexham can continue this impressive run of form in their nine remaining league games, and if they can either push for automatic promotion or take the momentum into the play-offs.
They are targeting a historic four promotions in a row across the top four divisions in England to reach the Premier League.
Rob and Ryan are certainly invested in the Welsh club, both emotionally and financially. The duo will be hoping that their investments can push Wrexham up to the Premier League, at the first time of asking.
