The UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw has been completed, and the 16 teams remaining in the competition have learned their fate. The fixtures are:
PSG vs Chelsea
Barcelona vs Newcastle United
Galatasaray vs Liverpool
Atlético Madrid vs Tottenham Hotspur
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Bodø/Glimt vs Sporting CP
Atalanta vs Bayern Munich
Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen
Manchester City and Real Madrid are set to face each other for the 10th and 11th time in the last five seasons, with the pair being drawn against each other in the round of 16. They have both played each other this season already, and the Cityzens won 2-1 at the Bernabeu.
PSG and Chelsea will face each other in the round of 16, with the meeting between the pair being a rematch of the FIFA Club World Cup final. Chelsea won the Club World Cup final 3-0 in the USA back in July.
Barcelona and Newcastle United have been drawn against each other, and it will be the second and third time the pair meet this season. Marcus Rashford hit the headlines the first time the pair met at St. James' Park this season, as the Catalan side won 2-1 and the Englishman scored a brace.
League phase leaders Arsenal have been drawn against Bayer Leverkusen, as the Gunners look to continue their 100% win streak in the competition when they face the Bundesliga side.
Atalanta's impressive 4-1 win against Borussia Dortmund in the play-offs sees them face fellow Bundesliga team Bayern Munich in the next round of the competition. Vincent Kompany's side finished second in the league phase, while the Italian side finished 15th.
Bodø/Glimt, who have been a surprise package in the competition this campaign, have been drawn against Sporting CP. After an impressive play-off clash against Inter, the Norwegian outfit take on Portuguese side Sporting. Bodø will be looking to cause another surprise in the competition in the next round.
Galatasaray will take on Liverpool, with the draw being their second and third meetings of the season. Galatasaray won their first clash this year in Turkiye 1-0. Victor Osimhen scored from the penalty spot, which was the only goal in the game.
Atlético Madrid and Spurs will face off in the round of 16, with the winner taking on either Newcastle United or Barcelona. In the quarter-finals, there could be an all-English or all-Spanish meeting, depending on who wins between Atlético vs Spurs and Newcastle vs Barcelona.
