Premier League injuries suffered during the international break

The first week of the international break has already seen numerous Premier League stars suffer injuries.
Liverpool have suffered two injuries, with Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo picking up problems. Isak has returned to the club after suffering a minor injury, while Gakpo is undergoing scans today to see how bad his problem is.
Patrick Dorgu suffered a non-contact injury, which is believed to be a hamstring injury. Manchester United were interested in a left-back towards the latter stages of the transfer window, but failed to sign somebody.
Dorgu could be sidelined for a period of time, putting extra pressure on Luke Shaw and teenager Harry Amass.
Bruno Fernandes was sidelined during Portugal's win last night against Norway, as Manchester United have been in contact with Portugal over managing his fitness.
The Portuguese midfielder is rarely injured, but his current fitness situation is being carefully managed by his club and country.
Kai Havertz picked up an injury against the Netherlands, following a tackle from Quinten Timber. Havertz has returned to Arsenal to assess his current situation and to determine how long he will be out of action.
Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey was also brought off in the same game as Havertz. The Dutch forward scored a hat-trick last time out for Sunderland, but he could miss numerous games due to his problem.
Dan Ballard suffered a hamstring injury during Northern Ireland's 1-0 away win against Georgia. The Sunderland defender has been an important player to the side since the club won promotion to the top flight, and his absence will be massively felt.
The current international break still has over one week left, and more injuries could occur between now and the Premier League returning.
But for all 20 clubs in the top flight, they will be hoping their players come back fit and without any issues.
