Premier League 2026/27 fixture list confirmation

The Premier League's 2026/27 fixture list has been released, with all 20 teams learning their opening weekend fate. The very first game of the upcoming Premier League season will include the reigning Premier League champions and the EFL Championship champions.
Arsenal will host Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium on 21 August, kick-starting the top-flight campaign. Mikel Arteta's side will begin their title defence at home, before facing Aston Villa and Chelsea.
The first Saturday game of the new Premier League season will see newly promoted Hull City host Manchester United. The Tigers will be hoping to begin their first season back in the top flight with a win, following a six-year absence. Michael Carrick's side then face Ipswich Town in their first home match of the campaign.
The opening weekend will see three matches kick-off at 3PM, which are:
Everton vs Crystal Palace
Ipswich Town vs Sunderland
Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United
The final game on the opening Saturday will see Roberto de Zerbi's Spurs travel to fellow London side Brentford.
Sunday will have three games played, which are:
Brighton vs Aston Villa
Manchester City vs Bournemouth
Newcastle United vs Liverpool
Xabi Alonso will travel to Craven Cottage in his first game as Chelsea boss, when the Blues take on Fulham. The pair will meet on 24 August, making the clash the first Monday evening fixture of the season.
The upcoming campaign will see large changes, from personnel on the pitch and in the dugouts. One notable managerial change is at Manchester City, where Enzo Maresca is set to replace Pep Guardiola as boss of the Cityzens.
The first game at the Etihad Stadium will be Marco Rose's first game in charge of the Cherries, as he goes into the Vitality Stadium replacing Andoni Iraola.
Iraola's first game as Liverpool boss sees him travel to the North East to take on Newcastle United, who had an underwhelming season. The Magpies will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing campaign and push towards the European spots once again.
