Last week, Newcastle United suffered a 1-0 loss against Sunderland in the Tyne-Wear Derby, with the only goal in the game being an own goal. Nick Woltemade found the back of his own net, which was the decisive moment in the match.

No doubt that moment would have been on the German striker's mind all week, as he prepared for his next Premier League match against the world champions Chelsea.

He and the Magpies started superbly against Chelsea, with Woltemade scoring just three minutes into the match at St. James' Park. He had redeemed himself to the Magpies fans, following a disappointing moment last week.

However, the 23-year-old was not finished there...

In the 21st minute, he added a second to his tally for the day and doubled Newcastle's lead at home.

At half-time, the forward would have been thinking how he had not scored a hat-trick, after missing multiple great opportunities to add a third.

The German proved to be a handful for the Chelsea defence, who struggled in the first 45 minutes to deal with Woltemade and Anthony Gordon.

The brace from Woltemade at half-time took his league tally up to seven for the season, putting him joint-third in the Premier League golden boot race.

How many goals do you think Nick Woltemade will score in the Premier League this season?
