Lorent Tolaj has had a great debut season with League One side Plymouth Argyle, with him scoring 20 goals in 34 appearances. The striker has also picked up six assists across his appearances this season, putting him fourth in League One's golden boot race.
His impressive season has seen him catch the eye of multiple Championship clubs, who are both chasing promotion. Millwall and Derby County are the clubs that hold an interest in the striker, according to Pete O'Rourke.
Millwall are third and are chasing automatic promotion to the Premier League this weekend. Derby County will be hoping to secure a play-off spot this weekend if results go their way. The Rams find themselves eighth, one spot outside of the play-offs.
Plymouth Argyle have been a huge threat in front of goal this seaosn, with players such as Tolaj Aribim Pepple and Owen Oseni being dangerous in front of goal. Argyle will be looking to maintain their attack going into next season, irrespective of the division they are in.
The Greens have been the second-best team in the third-tier across the last 20 matches, picking up the second-most amount of points out of any team in those games. Tom Cleverley's team are currently eighth in League One, and could secure the play-offs if they win, and elsewhere results go their way on Saturday.
Plymouth have suffered just two defeats across their last 15 games in the league, which were against Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers.
If the club fail to gain promotion this season, then departures of key players could be increased, with one of those players being Tolaj. However, a return to the Championship would help the club make a stronger case to keep players who have interest in them from elsewhere.
If Millwall and Derby County, who are interested in the Swiss striker, fail to get promoted to the Premier League, their interest in the attacker could increase when the season ends. Derby County's Patrick Agyemang has been sidelined for a lengthy period of time due to injury, which could make the Rams move for a striker ahead of the start of next season.
Do you think Lorent Tolaj will leave Plymouth Argyle during this summer's window?
