Luis Díaz joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool during the summer window for a fee of £65.5 million. The 29-year-old winger has been immense for Vincent Kompany's side to date, which has seen him feature 38 times.
Díaz spent three-and-a-half years at Liverpool before departing for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. The Colombian played 148 times for the Reds, scoring 41 and assisting 23. The winger won five trophies with the English side, which includes a Premier League title, won last season.
This campaign, the 29-year-old has played 38 games, and has 40 goal involvements combined across those appearances. He has also won a trophy with the German giants, which was the German Super Cup. Bayern defeated Stuttgart 2-1, and Díaz scored Bayern's second goal in the match.
In the Bundesliga, Díaz has picked up 26 goal involvements in 25 matches, scoring 15 and assisting 11. The left winger spot in the team has been solidified as his, and he has gone from strength to strength since signing for Bayern in the summer.
In his last four games, the winger has picked up six goal involvements, scoring three times and assisting three. He scored a hat-trick against Hoffenheim in February, which helped Bayern to a 5-1 home win against the side who are currently fifth in the table.
Vincent Kompany's team are currently top of the Bundesliga by nine points, with Borussia Dortmund sat in second place. Bayern are also through to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, where they face Real Madrid. Their round of 16 tie against Atalanta saw the German giants score 10 goals across the two games, showcasing their dominance in front of goal.
The side is a goalscoring machine, with them netting 97 goals in only 27 games in the league this season so far. With seven games remaining, they will seemingly score more than 100 goals this campaign.
Luis Díaz has helped contribute to Bayern's goals this season, and he will not slow down between now and the end of the 25-26 campaign. The big question is, will he and Bayern continue their goalscoring levels into next season?
