20-year-old Dominic Ballard has been in fine form for the O's this season, scoring 21 league goals in 31 appearances. The young striker is currently League One's leading goalscorer, three ahead of Stockport County's Kyle Wootton.
Ballard signed for Leyton Orient last summer, and the signing has been nothing short of a success. In his last game, Ballard scored a hat-trick for the O's, as they defeated AFC Wimbledon away from home 4-2. In his last three appearances, Ballard has netted five times.
Across this season, Dominic Ballard has scored three hat-tricks, proving to be extremely clinical in front of goal. The striker who departed Southampton in the summer will have clubs from the Championship and potentially even higher interested in him, for his performances this campaign.
The young forward has represented England at youth level and he found himself among the goals representing the Three Lions.
Despite having an unsettled 2024-25 campaign, where he only scored three league goals in total, this campaign has been the complete opposite.
Leyton Orient find themselves 16th in the league, having climbed away from the relegation zone. They are four points clear of the bottom four, having won all of their last three games.
The 20-year-old has impressed so far this campaign and will not be short of offers in the summer. Do you think Ballard will leave Brisbane Road in the summer window?
