Kylian Mbappé has reportedly been playing with an injury, which an MRI scan has revealed is knee ligaments damage, per L'Equipe.

The French forward has been in brilliant form this season for Real Madrid, where he has 29 goals in only 24 appearances. With Mbappé set to miss up to three weeks, he will be absent from Real Madrid's Super Cup semi-final against rivals Atlétco Madrid, and he will miss the final if Real Madrid reach it.

The Madridistas also play one Champions League match, against AS Monaco on January 20th.

The first game Mbappé will be absent from is against Real Betis, who are doing well in La Liga this season. The club find themselves sitting sixth in the table, and have only lost one match since October.

Xabi Alonso's side have put three wins together in a row, which have followed back-to-back defeats. Mbappé has scored four goals in Madrid's last three wins, along with scoring 11 goals in his last seven appearances.

The former Paris Saint-Germain attacker finds himself as La Liga's and the Champions League's top goalscorer this season, showing his dominance in front of goal.

How big of a miss do you think Kylian Mbappé will be to Real Madrid in the upcoming month?
