Ipswich Town are currently fourth in the EFL Championship, and have 54 points from 31 games played. The Tractor Boys recently played Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground and suffered a 5-3 loss, which sees them only three points above Wrexham in the league.
Although the side is fourth in the league, they find themselves as the highest-ranked EFL Championship side in Opta's club power rankings. The Tractor Boys are ranked 67th in the world, and are two places above league leaders Coventry City. With a rating of 86.3, they are 0.1 above Coventry City and are two places higher.
Kieran McKenna's side have lost only two of their last 10 in the league, as they look to gain promotion back to the Premier League. This evening, Ipswich take on Watford at Vicarage Road, with the Hornets looking to move three points behind the Tractor Boys with a win. If Ipswich win this evening, they will go to third in the league one point above Millwall. If Ipswich Town win both of their games in hand over Middlesbrough, they will move two points behind the side who are second in the league, making the fight for automatic promotion extremely interesting.
McKenna's side have struggled away from home, finding themselves 14th in the away form guide, picking up 19 points. In comparison to their home form, at Portman Road, the Tractor Boys have picked up 35 points at home and are second in the home form guide.
Ipswich Town take on Watford, Swansea City, Hull City and Leicester City in their next four games, with the three matches after Watford all being played at Portman Road.
Where will Ipswich Town finish in the league this season?
