Como reach the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia following a 3-1 win vs Fiorentina

Cesc Fabregas' Como took on Fiorentina away from home in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.
Como currently sit sixth in Serie A, three points behind AS Roma, who are third in the table. Fiorentina are currently 18th in the league, but they only lost two of their previous seven going into the cup match.
Fiorentina vs Como was the final round of 16 match to be played in this season's Coppa Italia, with the winner taking on Napoli. The other seven teams to reach the quarter-finals are: Bologna, Lazio, Atalanta, Juventus, Inter, Torino and Napoli.
Seven minutes into the game, Roberto Piccoli scored for the home side to open the scoring. The side in the relegation zone were in front after a quick start to the game.
But, in the 20th minute, former Barcelona right-back Sergi Roberto brought his team level, scoring his first goal for the club.
The scoreline at half-time was 1-1, with a big second half coming up for both sides.
Nico Paz, who has been rumoured with a move back to Real Madrid, put his side in the lead on the hour mark, helping them take one step closer to the next round of the Coppa Italia.
In added time, Alvaro Morata scored his team's third goal in his first game of 2026.
Como had booked their spot in the quarter-finals against Napoli after their 3-1 away win against Fiorentina.
