Casemiro has confirmed that he will leave Manchester United this summer, when his contract with the club runs out. The Brazilian has spent four seasons at Old Trafford since joining from Real Madrid in 2022. During his time at United, he has made 146 appearances, scoring 21 goals and assisting 13.

He helped the club end a six-year drought without a trophy by winning 2-0 against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final. The experienced midfielder opened the scoring in the final at Wembley Stadium that day.

A year later, he lifted the FA Cup trophy as United beat Manchester City 2-1 in the final. The Red Devils finished second in the Europa League final last year, which saw the club and Casemiro miss out on another piece of silverware.

Although the Brazilian's time at Manchester United is coming to an end, he is still fully focused on helping the club secure Champions League football for next season. He said, "Knowing when stages come to an end. Knowing when to say goodbye when you feel that you will be remembered and respected forever. Four months to give my all for this badge and for our goal. Eternal respect and affection for Manchester United and its wonderful fans. Forever Red Devil."

Michael Carrick's side currently sit fifth in the Premier League, occupying the final UCL spot. However, the Red Devils travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on league leaders Arsenal. The Gunners are seven points clear in first, having United to thank after they beat Manchester City last Saturday 2-0.

Casemiro has played in 21 matches this season for Manchester United, scoring four goals and assisting one. The defensive midfielder has only missed two games in the league this campaign, with both absences being due to suspension.

For Brazil, he has played four games this season, scoring one and assisting one. His former boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has put his faith in the experienced midfielder for Brazil, with the nation winning two of their four games played this campaign.

Which club do you think Casemiro will sign for next?
