Left-back Brandon Williams has left Hull City by mutual consent. The defender made only one appearance for the EFL Championship side, which was against Blackburn Rovers on matchday three in the league. The Tigers suffered a 3-0 home defeat in the game.

The defender made his name at Manchester United, breaking into the first team during the 2019/2020 season, where he scored once in 17 appearances in the Premier League.

The Red Devils released the 25-year-old in 2025, with him joining Hull City in the summer. However, a lack of minutes and injuries has seen the defender depart the MKM Stadium.

The tigers are currently pushing for an automatic promotion place, sitting in third with 54 points. They are four points behind second-place Middlesbrough, with plenty of points up for grabs in the remaining league fixtures.

Hull are in great form, having won nine of their last 12 across all competitions. They started the season slowly, winning only two of their first eight league games, but the Tigers have turned their form around impressively to put themselves third as things stand.

With the winter window coming to a close, Hull can no longer make additions to their playing squad ahead of the second half of the season.

Brandon Williams is now a free agent and is available for clubs to sign him, but the question is, where will he go next?
