Bolton Wanderers currently sit third in the League One table, following their 2-1 away win against Plymouth Argyle. Steven Schumacher's side were reduced to 10-men after John McAtee was shown a straight red after 43 minutes.

Despite having 10-men, the Wanderers took the lead through Celtic loanee Johnny Kenny, who converted from the spot after 49 minutes. Argyle brought themselves level through Ronan Curtis, who equalised eight minutes after the opening goal. However, the away side took all three points through an own goal in the 70th minute.

The huge win puts the Whites third in the table, but they are eight points off second place. But, the side are one point clear of fourth-place Bradford City and are two points clear of fifth-place Stockport County, who they face on Monday.

The Wanderers have lost only one of their last 15 in the league, with their defeat coming against bottom-of-the-league Port Vale.

The league's form guide across the last 15 matches sees Bolton second, only behind league leaders Lincoln City, and the Wanderers have hit a good run of form as the season starts to come to an end. Schumacher's team are eight points clear of seventh-place Stevenage, who are outside of the play-offs, so a play-off campaign is expected to happen for the team.

With promotion to the Championship being targeted by Wanderers, the question will be whether they achieve their goal or not.

Last season, Bolton finished in eighth, and they are currently five places better off. They pose the fourth-best home record in the league this season, and the fourth-best away record, out of all 24 teams in the third tier.

Bolton's final six league games see them face teams who are currently 11th or higher, showing how hard their run-in is. On Monday, they take on fifth-place Stockport County at home, but the Hatters could leapfrog the hosts if they win on the road.

After facing fifth in the league, the Wanderers then travel to second-place Cardiff City, less than a week later. Where do you think Bolton will finish in League One this campaign?
