Unai Emery's Aston Villa are third in the Premier League table, three points behind league leaders Arsenal.
The Villains have won each of their last 11 matches in all competitions, with three coming in the Europa League and eight being in the Premier League.
Emery's men moved 10 points clear of Chelsea on Saturday, after Villa won from behind 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Had the world champions won the fixture, they would have been four points behind the most in-form team in the top-flight.
Ollie Watkins came on after 58 minutes with his side trailing 1-0, but the striker changed the game by scoring a brace. Five minutes after entering the pitch, he brought his side level and scored the winner in the 84th minute of the game.
Villa are third in the league when it comes to home form, and they have the second-best away form in the division. The club also have the best form in the Premier League across the last 15 games, one point above Manchester City and two above league leaders Arsenal.
In the Europa League, Aston Villa are third, picking up 15 points from their six matches played. They are level on points with Midtjylland and Olympique Lyon, who are second and first respectively.
During their remarkable run, Aston Villa have scored 26 goals, keeping three clean sheets during the run.
At the start of the 2025/26 campaign, Emery's team failed to pick up a win in any of their first six matches. Since the poor start to the season, they have only failed to win two games.
Up next is a difficult trip away from home to Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, who have the best home form in the league. Eight wins from their nine home matches played so far in the league has helped the Gunners earn top spot after 18 matchdays.
