Antoine Semenyo is set to undergo a medical today ahead of a move to Manchester City. The Cityzens have met the winger's £65 million release clause, which is only valid until January 10th.

Yesterday, the Cherries played Tottenham Hotspur at home, in what seems to be Semenyo's final game for the club.

Spurs took the lead through Mathys Tel, with Xavi Simons assisting the goal. But Bournemouth scored two in 15 minutes to lead at the half-time interval.

With 12 minutes left, Joao Palhinha brought Thomas Frank's side level, as both teams searched for a winner late in the game.

Bournemouth, who before the game had not won in 11, found the winner in the 95th minute through Antoine Semenyo. The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Man City, and he is expected to complete the transfer to the Northwest in the coming days.

His departing gift to the Cherries fans is their first league win since October 26th scoring a dramatic late winner.

Semenyo will face Bournemouth this season if he joins Man City, with the Cherries facing the Cityzens in their final home game of the 2025/26 season.

The win puts Andoni Iraola's team on 26 points, four points clear of Leeds United and one point behind Spurs, who were their most recent opposition.
