QPR striker Richard Kone joined the club from League One side Wycombe Wanderers at the beginning of the season. The 22-year-old forward played the first game of the season for Wycombe before making the switch to Championship side QPR.
Kone scored 21 goals last season, with 18 coming in the league. The striker was playing at step five in non-league just two years ago, before signing for Wycombe. In summer 2025, he completed a move up a division, to QPR for an undisclosed fee, after a spectacular season in front of goal for the Chairboys.
The Ivorian has scored seven goals since joining the London club, netting six in the league and one in the FA Cup. Kone has featured in all of QPR's last 13 matches, with his last absence coming in a 3-1 defeat for his side. Last time out, the 22-year-old netted once during his side's 2-1 win against top-of-the-table Coventry City.
Kone was on the scoresheet when the Hoops travelled to West Ham United in the FA Cup, with the Hammers winning narrowly by two goals to one. The Premier League outfit needed extra time to reach the fourth round of the cup.
During the winter window, Ipswich Town were linked with Richard Kone. The Tractor Boys are currently fourth in the league, having lost only two of their last 12 in the Championship. The club's top goalscorer in the league is Jack Clarke, who is the second top goalscorer in the division, and has scored four in his last three.
How many goals do you think Richard Kone will score for Queens Park Rangers this season?
