Mohamed Salah has confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the current seaosn. The Egyptian king has spent nine seasons with the Reds, and he has been extremely influential for the Merseyside club.
He has won two Premier Leagues, one UEFA Champions League and plenty more trophies during his spell in the North West. But his time with Liverpool will end this summer, as Salah looks to begin a new chapter in his career.
The 33-year-old has previously been linked with moves to the Saudi Pro League, but no transfer materialised. Now, with the winger available on a free transfer, clubs could be tempted to make a move for the Eypgt international from across the globe.
Although this season has not been as successful as last campaign, he will be hoping that he can prove to the world he can still perform on the biggest stage. With Egypt reaching this summer's World Cup, sharing a group with Belgium, New Zealand and Iran, Salah will be hoping to help his nation reach the knockouts of the competition.
Salah has previously played in Italy, Switzerland and Egypt during his club career, and of course is currently playing in England. But the strongest links have come from Saudi Arabia and the USA.
So far this season, Salah has scored 10 goals, but last campaign, he netted a staggering 34 goals in all competitions.
Before the Egyptian left for the Africa Cup of Nations, Salah publicly spoke about his situation at Liverpool and how he was unhappy. The public comments left Liverpool fans unhappy, and six months on, Salah will depart Anfield.
His time at the Reds will be looked back on as successful, with him playing a vital role in the Reds' success under Jurgen Klopp. During Arne Slot's first season, the 33-year-old was the standout player and seemed to be unstoppable.
But less than a year on, things have changed massively...
Where do you think Mo Salah will be playing next season?
