West Ham's top form continues after their 6-0 win vs Wrexham

West Ham United picked up a huge win on Friday evening, beating Wrexham 6-0 at the London Stadium.
West Ham United went into Friday night's clash after a 3-2 win away against Bolton Wanderers. The Hammers were hoping to secure three points and make it four consecutive wins in the league.
Wrexham went into the clash with just one win from their previous seven games. The Welsh outfit knew they would have climbed into the play-offs had they won in the Capital against West Ham.
Nuno Espírito Santo's side opened the scoring after 28 minutes, with Jarrod Bowen getting on the scoresheet. He had scored his third goal in two games. The Hammers had the lead, and their tails were up as they searched for their second.
Leeds United loanee Joel Piroe scored the second, putting the hosts in a good position for the rest of the match. The goal eased the pressure on the side, who went into the break 2-0 up.
It was a fast start from the hosts who found their third just three minutes into the second half. Konstantinos Mavropanos had his second goal in four days, all but securing the three points for the Hammers.
Valentin Castellanos, Mohamadou Kanté and Manor Solomon all got onto the scoresheet for the recently relegated side, with the scoreline ending 6-0.
After the Hammers' goal difference flew up to +11, they remained top of the table following Saturday's action. Swansea City and West Brom are second and third respectively, but they are level on points with West Ham.
