York City currently sit second in the National League, following their 4-0 home victory against Truro City. York are one point behind Rochdale, who are in first, but the Dale have played two games less than the Minstermen.

One standout player for York City is Ollie Pearce, who has scored 19 league goals in 21 appearances this season. He scored a hat-trick tonight for his side, in their 4-0 home win against a struggling Truro City.

The 30-year-old joined York last season, and he scored 31 goals in 46 matches in his debut campaign for the fifth-tier team.

Pearce has often found the back of the net over recent seasons, with his final campaign for Worthing seeing him net a staggering 43 league goals in only 27 matches.

The 30-year-old forward will no doubt have interest from clubs in the EFL during the January and summer transfer windows, but a lucrative deal would need to be presented to York City if they are to let Ollie Pearce go.

The forward and York City are in great form currently, with the Minstermen winning all of their last seven league matches. Their last loss came 11 games ago, against Scunthorpe United on October 1st.

If Ollie Pearce stays at York City this season, how many goals do you think he will score in the league, and do you think his team will gain promotion to the EFL?
