Former Premier League midfielder Robbie Savage joined Forest Green Rovers as their first-team manager in the summer, after achieving promotion with Macclesfield the season prior.
Savage, who was capped 39 times by Wales, has enjoyed his start to life at the Rovers, with the club currently sitting second in the National League.
The side has only lost two league matches from their 23 played this season, winning 14 of them. FGR currently have 49 points, joint with league leaders Rochdale, but the Greater Manchester outfit has played three matches less.
Kyle McAllister has seven league goals this season, which is the most National League goals scored by a Forest Green Rovers player this campaign. Five players from the club are all tied in second for most goals scored, with them all on four league goals so far.
Savage's side is unbeaten in their last eight in the league, and face Brackley Town (19th) and Truro City (24th) in their next two outings.
In the National League, no side has a better home record than Forest Green, who have picked up 27 points from 12 home league games this season.
The last time the club played in the Football League was during the 2023/24 season, where Rovers finished 24th in League Two, picking up 42 points. They were relegated to the National League alongside Sutton United.
Do you think Robbie Savage will return Forest Green Rovers to the EFL at the first time of asking?
