Barnet hosted Oldham Athletic at the weekend in League Two. The Bees were sitting in 12th at 12PM on Saturday, while the Latics were 13th. The 12:30 kick-off was one which was huge for both sides, as the two teams were level on 35 points as the game began.

Earlier in the week, Barnet confirmed the signing of 28-year-old striker Kabongo Tshimanga from League One Crawley Town. The forward scored 11 league goals in League Two last season for Swindon Town, so he knows where the back of the net is in the fourth division.

In the 45th minute, the new signing stepped up to the penalty spot to take a spot kick on his debut, to put his side 2-1 up. Tshimanga's shot rocketed into the top right corner, scoring a spectacular strike on his first appearance for Barnet.

Oldham Athletic levelled the game in the 69th minute, just five minutes after Barnet were reduced to 10-men. In the latter stages of the game, Tshimanga scored once again, netting an 87th-minute winner for his side on his debut.

Dean Brennan's team had secured three points against Oldham Athletic at home, which was their third win in their last four. Up next for Brennan's side is 17th-place Tranmere Rovers at home, followed by an away game against Shrewsbury Town, who are 21st.

Despite Barnet winning the game, Gillingham's 3-0 win against Crewe Alexandra saw the Gills climb above the Bees in the table due to goal difference.

Kabongo Tshimanga made an instant impact for his new club, hitting the ground running at the Hive Stadium.

How many goals do you think he will score this season for Barnet?
