Robert Lewandowski has scored the most Bundesliga goals in one season, which he achieved during the 2020-2021 season. The Polish striker netted a staggering total of 41 goals in only 29 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich.

This season, Harry Kane is hoping to break the record held by Lewandowski, with the English striker currently sitting on 31 league goals so far this season. Kane needs to score 10 goals in Bayern's remaining five Bundesliga fixtures.

Vincent Kompany's side face the following sides in their last five matches in the Bundesliga:

  • Stuttgart (H)

  • Mainz (A)

  • Heidenheim (H)

  • Wolfsburg (A)

  • FC Köln (H)

Kane was an unused substitute during Bayern's comfortable 5-0 away win against St. Pauli, with him more likely than not being rested for his team's second leg against Real Madrid.

Vincent Kompany's team could win the Bundesliga title this weekend, and Harry Kane's goalscoring ability could get his team over the line against Stuttgart. The Allianz Arena could see two huge wins this week, one in the league and one in the Champions League.

Kane has failed to score in just one of his last 11 matches, which was against Bayer Leverkusen when he played just 30 minutes.

In total, England's number nine has netted 48 goals this year for his club, and Thomas Tuchel will be hoping Kane brings his goalscoring boots to the World Cup.

The striker is currently having one of the best goalscoring seasons of his career, and he is on course for even more silverware since joining Bayern.

Will Harry Kane break Robert Lewandowski's record of 41 goals in one Bundesliga season, this campaign?
