Ferran Torres has been impressive in front of goal for Barcelona this season, finding himself as the club's top goalscorer this campaign to date. Lamine Yamal is Barça's second-highest goalscorer with 14 this season.
Torres has scored in LaLiga, the Champions League, the Super Cup and the Copa del Rey, making him the only Barça player to find the net in all four tournaments so far. With 16 goals in 30 games, he has found himself as the team’s top scorer and is on track to reach or surpass the 20‑goal mark, a benchmark often associated with elite strikers across Europe.
The output of the forward has forced a tactical change in attack, with Flick increasingly trusting him as the central number 9 and pushing Robert Lewandowski into a more secondary role.
The former Manchester City winger has become a reliable scorer who delivers regularly in La Liga and across all competitions for the Catalan club, making him a danger in front of goal.
This season is currently his best for goals scored in the league so far across his career, beating last season's goal tally of 10. He has scored 12 goals with 16 league games remaining in La Liga.
Torres is seventh for the most appearances this season for Barcelona in all competitions, with him playing in 32 games so far. Eric García and Jules Koundé have played the most amount of games, featuring in 35.
Do you think the 25-year-old will be Barça's number one striker option going into next season?
