Chris Conn-Clarke signed for Carlisle United in October on an initial loan that expired in January, from League One side Peterborough United.

The National League club have confirmed that Conn-Clarke has signed a loan extension, keeping him at Brunton Park until the end of the current campaign.

The 24-year-old has played eight league games for Carlisle this season, scoring one and assisting four. His first goal for the club came in a 2-1 away win versus Southend United, while setting up the winner.

Conn-Clarke played in the National League during the 2023/24 season for Altrincham, where he scored 22 goals in 47 matches. His return to the league has seen him get five goal involvements in eight appearances.

Carlisle, managed by Mark Hughes, currently sit top of the National League table, by two points. However, second place Boreham Wood do have two games in hand on the league leaders.

The Cumbrian side take on York City (fourth) and Rochdale (fifth) in the league in the next month, which could be crucial to the club's title charge.

The loan extension of Conn-Clarke will help the Northeast team strengthen their attack even further, which includes the likes of Luke Armstrong, Regan Linney and Georgie Kelly just to name three.

How many goal involvements do you think Chris Conn-Clarke will get in the National League in total this season?
