Bradford City are playing their first season in League One in six years. The Bantams finished third in League Two last season, which secured automatic promotion to the third tier.

The Bantams have settled into life in League One very quickly and find themselves third in the table.

In the league, the side have won 13 of their 24 matches played, drawing seven and losing four. The strong start sees the team sit just two points outside of the automatic promotion spots.

With the January transfer window open, Bradford have been exploring multiple deals, looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

One confirmed signing at the start of the window was Louie Sibley, who signed on loan until the end of the season. He signed from Championship side Oxford City.

Alex Pattison departed the club to join League Two Walsall for an undisclosed fee. Pattison made 66 appearances, scoring 12 goals for the Yorkshire club.

Andy Cook has also left, joining League Two Grimsby Town on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. The Mariners are in the fourth round of the FA Cup, after beating Weston-Super-Mare in the third round.

According to Craig Hope from the Daily Mail, Newcastle United duo Harrison Ashby and Joe White are both in talks with Bradford City over loan deals to the promotion-chasing side. Ashby spent last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, where he made 29 appearances.

Joe White (seen in the picture) was on loan with Leyton Orient for the first part of the season but only made three league appearances for the London club. The Magpies are now looking to send him on loan where he will feature more.

The duo signing for City will both be great additions, who also have good EFL experience.

With Sibley already through the door and the potential additions of Ashby and White, do you think Bradford will complete the signings of other players?
