The National League table sees the top five separated by only three points, and Boreham Wood currently sit first.

The Wood won on Tuesday December 30th to go top of the table following Rochdale's defeat on the same evening, which is their first home loss since October.

Rochdale lost their home fixture to Hartlepool who find themselves two points outside of the play-offs, currently sitting ninth. The Dale played their home match vs the Pools at Accrington Stanley's ground, as the Spotland Stadium undergoes a pitch renovation.

Boreham Wood have won all of their last five league games, with three of those wins coming against teams sitting 10th or higher. One of the victories was against Carlisle United, who are one point behind Boreham Wood, and are sat fourth.

A home win against Solihull Moors saw the Wood jump to the top of the table, beating a team who defeated their rivals 7-1 on Boxing Day.

Luke Garrard's side have the best home record in the league, picking up 31 points from 13 home games. On the road, Boreham Wood are fourth in the league for away form, picking up 22 points from 11 games.

Matt Rush is the league's second top goalscorer, with 14 goals from 24 appearances. Ollie Pearce leads the Golden Boot race with 21 league goals so far this campaign.
